beccs
founder/vocalist
beccs is a recording artist, vocalist, songwriter, and educator based in Hudson, NY. A 2025 NYFA/NYSCA Artist Fellowship Finalist, a John Lennon Songwriting Finalist, and 2024 Official SXSW Artist, beccs blends a playful modern pop sensibility with a powerful voice akin to classic 60’s Laurel Canyon. Her alternative pop folk project under beccs has earned recognition from KCRW's "5 Songs To Hear This Week" and NPR's Tiny Desk Contest along with LADYGUNN, Refinery29, NYLON and Huffington Post Queer Voices. beccs has lent her voice to records and commercials including those of Matchbox Twenty, Sufjan Stevens, and a Nike Japan commercial. When beccs isn’t touring and recording, she teaches private voice lessons, sings standards one-on-one to seniors with dementia and Alzheimers, and serenades lovebirds and their communities on their special day. With a soul-stirring voice that is as dynamic as it is vulnerable, beccs fuses her broad performance experience and technical prowess with an innate gift for stirring hearts.
Daniel Kleederman
music director/guitarist
Daniel Kleederman is a musician, songwriter, educator, and creative coach based in Brooklyn, NY. Daniel grew up in the foothills of the Berkshire mountains, enchanted and inspired by the electric blues of the 60’s and 70’s, and specifically, the voice of the guitar. After moving to New York City, he became the dedicated collaborator, lead guitarist, and music director for indie darling Bartees Strange, where he “helped redefine the sound of indie rock for the 2020s” (Rock n’ Roll Globe), touring the US, UK, and EU multiple times over. In 2025, Daniel decided to bring focus back to his own work, returning to NYC, and releasing his debut LP, “Another Life,” which was featured as one of NPR’s “Best New Albums”.
Often drawing comparisons to Jeff Buckley with an emotive, rangy falsetto in toe, Kleederman’s musical explorations are grounded first and foremost by his intimate and loving relationship to his instrument; in his hands, the guitar appears both an extension of self and a portal to other worlds. Kleederman’s friendship with the guitar remains a timeless force, ever-present in his current work, on and off stage.
